Senior Software Development Quality Assurance Specialist

Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance the quality of our product, Fortiweb. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in protecting business-critical web applications from attacks that target known and unknown vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our software.
- Design and implement test tools to support feature testing and ensure the stability of our product.
- Set up and maintain a developing QA test environment to facilitate efficient testing.
- Execute feature testing using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques to identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot bugs, ensuring defects are accurately identified and resolved.
- Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Shell, Ruby, or Perl.
- Experience in developing testing frameworks or test tools to ensure the quality of software.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, with skills in setting up and managing servers across both platforms.
- Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and TCP/IP protocols to ensure the security of our product.
- Familiarity with network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to perform fundamental network setups and configurations.
- Understanding of Web application vulnerabilities, including the OWASP top 10, to ensure the security of our product.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with developers and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Big Data analysis is a plus to enhance the quality of our product.
