We are seeking a skilled Exterior Finisher to join our team at H&R Exterior Finish Ltd. as a Construction Laborer. As a key member of our building trades team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our exterior construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials

You will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.

Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials

You will mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Perform Routine Maintenance Work

You will perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

Remove Rubble and Debris

You will remove rubble and debris from construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Install Door, Window, and Hardware

You will install door, window, and hardware to ensure a secure and functional finish.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding

You will assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to ensure safe access to work areas.

Install Vapor Barriers and Fire-Retardant Materials

You will install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials to ensure a safe and durable finish.

Trowel or Spray Coats of Stucco

You will trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Requirements
  • Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Experience

You will have experience working on industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects.

Residential Experience

You will have experience working on residential construction projects.

Sheeting and Cladding Experience

You will have experience with sheathing and cladding.

Physical Demands

You will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs) with assistance.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
