About the Role:
The Branch Controller will be an integral part of the local management team responsible for the successful realization of the branch's goals and strategy. This role will oversee timely and accurate finance and accounting activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee month/year-end close accounting activities, financial statement preparation, and review.
- Support internal/external audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain expense/cost/capex controls and analysis.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Leadership Team to understand operational challenges and goals.
- Provide financial expertise to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.
- Proactively conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for profitability improvement and process optimization.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline branch processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and home office.
- Ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy in the level and timeliness of reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience with 5 years in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with internal/external audit compliance.
- 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft software environment with expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- SAP/BPC/SAC experience is highly desirable.
- A competitive salary range of $115,400 – $196,200 per year.
- Relocation may be available for this position.
