About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Technologist to join our team at Biogate Laboratories. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing antibodies and proteins using conventional and recombinant methods.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and execute experiments for multiple projects related to recombinant cell line expression and screening, working closely with our Supervisor.
  2. Develop and optimize protocols for expression, purification, and characterization of antibodies and/or other proteins.
  3. Contribute to the generation of intellectual property and assist in writing patents.
  4. Collaborate with our team to adhere to our company's Quality program requirements.
Requirements
  1. PhD or MSc (or equivalent) with 1-4 years of direct experience working with antibodies and/or other recombinant proteins.
  2. Experience with various immunization methodologies, including native or engineered antigen over-expressing cells, cell membranes, DNA immunization, and MAP systems.
  3. Strong background in methods for generating and screening clonal cell lines expressing recombinant antibodies or other proteins.
  4. Proven ability in expression and purification of antibodies or other proteins, with experience in large-scale production being an asset.
  5. Skilled in protein characterization methods.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
