Job Summary

Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's reconditioning and returns process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing of returned products, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconditioning and Returns Process Management: Oversee the reconditioning and returns process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of returns staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Product Quality Control: Ensure that all reconditioned products meet the company's quality standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of returned products, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Safety and Ergonomics: Promote a safe working environment, ensuring that all employees follow company safety policies and procedures, and provide training on the safe use of equipment.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and safety, to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel; analytical and problem-solving skills.
