Job Title: Transport Truck Mechanic

Le Centre du Camion (Beauce) Inc. is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck-trailer systems, including alignment, steering, and suspension problems.
  • Work with our team to ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Experience with engine repair and overhaul, as well as truck-trailer repair.
  • Knowledge of alignment, steering, and suspension systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
