SAIDOKE BROS RENOVATION LTD.

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing floor coverings in commercial and residential properties. Your role will involve working independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality results.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to determine the required materials and equipment
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand work requirements
  • Cut and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting and resilient floor coverings with precision and attention to detail
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain a high standard of quality
  • Prepare floors for installations by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 month of experience in a related field, such as flooring installation or construction
  • Judgement, organized, and team player skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work physically demanding roles, with bending, crouching, and kneeling involved
