Critical Care Nurse Position at a Leading Hospital

Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our Intensive Care Unit, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
This full-time position involves working in a state-of-the-art facility, providing care to patients with complex medical conditions. We are looking for individuals who possess strong communication skills, can function effectively in emergency situations, and are committed to delivering compassionate patient-centered care. If you have recent Medical/Surgical experience and are eager to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and guidelines
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
* Participate in education and training programs to maintain current critical care nursing knowledge and skills
* Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Requirements
* Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
* Recent Medical/Surgical experience (at least 2 years) required
* Preference given to candidates with current critical care nursing experience or those enrolled in post-diploma courses related to critical care nursing
* ACLS and PALS certification preferred
* Ability to demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality, availability, and performance
