We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Boulangerie Chazal inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Pastry Preparation: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Organization and Maintenance: Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Work Setting: Bake shop.
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
The primary language of work is English or French, and the work environment is a fast-paced bakery setting.
