Job Title: Senior Transmission and Distribution Lines Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transmission and Distribution Lines Engineer to join our team at IT UNLOCK CONSULTING INC. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Lines team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of specialized engineers, technicians, and support staff located across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team responsible for designing efficient and reliable transmission and distribution lines.
* Act as a technical project leader or manager, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (ranging from 5 kV to 765 kV).
* Prepare models using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
* Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines.
* Supervise inspections of existing lines and draft reports.
* Support and oversee the work of engineers, technicians, and drafters to ensure quality.
* Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines.
* Relevant structural engineering experience.
* Proficiency in technical writing.
* Knowledge of the PLS-CADD suite of tools.
* Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
* Asset: Bilingualism (English and French).
