Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Janet Hradil. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Employer's home
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
  • Work in employer's/client's home
Work Environment:

Our work environment is non-smoking and we provide optional accommodation for our caregivers.

Language:

We require English language proficiency for this position.

Hours:

This is a 30-hour per week position.

Security and Safety:

We require a criminal record check for this position.
