About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Wooden Prefabricated Housing Assembler to join our team at Darmac Framing Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated wooden housing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation of prefabricated wooden housing units.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining a safe and efficient work site.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth production workflows and achieve team goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as construction or manufacturing, is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
