About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Grocery Store Sales Associate to join our team at DJ Specialties. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure that products are properly displayed.
  • Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, report stock discrepancies, and assist with receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending are required.
