About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Assembler to join our team at Eastside Coatings Limited Partnership. As a Plastics Assembler, you will be responsible for operating machines and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble plastic materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machines and Equipment: Safely operate machines and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble plastic materials to form parts and assemblies.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on products inspected to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assemble Composite Materials: Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies.
  • Inspect Products: Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Mark and Re-route Defective Products: Mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycle.
  • Make Minor Adjustments: Make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed.
Work Environment

As a Plastics Assembler, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to work in a team environment and be flexible to meet the needs of the production schedule.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
