We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader in Accounting and Finance to join our team at Acsenda School of Management. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching courses in accounting and finance, providing leadership to students, and contributing to the development of our programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Course Development: Teach courses in accounting and finance, including introductory and advanced courses, and develop curriculum to ensure students receive a comprehensive education.
- Student Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and support to students in the accounting and finance concentration, including academic advising and mentorship.
- Program Development and Administration: Contribute to the development and administration of our accounting and finance programs, including course review and approval, and program assessment.
- Research and Scholarship: Engage in research and scholarly activities to stay current in the field and contribute to the development of teaching and learning in accounting and finance.
- Service and Community Engagement: Serve on institutional committees, participate in professional development opportunities, and engage in community outreach and service activities.
We are seeking a candidate with a master's degree in accounting or a related field, and a doctoral degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience and five or more years of related professional experience. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required for the accounting concentration.
What We OfferAcsenda School of Management offers a competitive salary range of $77,400-$95,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, group life, accidental death and disability, and long-term disability insurance. We also offer a 4-day paid Christmas shutdown period, vacation pay, sick pay, and a professional development program.
