Job Title: Hotel Operations Director

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operations of Comfort Inn & Suites. As a seasoned hotel manager, you will be responsible for developing policies and procedures, recruiting and supervising staff, negotiating with suppliers and clients, preparing budgets, and implementing marketing activities.

About the Role:
As the Hotel Operations Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless guest experiences. You will work closely with the management team to develop business plans, implement new initiatives, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, including employee supervision, customer service, and facility maintenance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality standards.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for materials and services, and clients for facility use, to achieve cost savings and optimize revenue streams.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed financial decisions.
  • Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and attract new customers.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a college/CEGEP education, 1-2 years of experience in hotel management, and strong skills in MS Word and MS Office. You will also need excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, as well as English language proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
