Framing Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Avjot Construction Co. Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
