Your Role

We are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company in the regulated sector located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, for an Engineering Projects and Maintenance Manager - Permanent position, 40 hours per week.

As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering and maintenance projects and associated teams. You will lead engineering, continuous improvement, and automation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating engineering and maintenance projects and associated teams.
  2. Leading engineering, continuous improvement, and automation projects from start to finish.
  3. Planning, organizing, and monitoring projects, including meetings, schedules, and reports.
  4. Managing the maintenance team to achieve monthly and annual objectives.
  5. Implementing a preventive maintenance plan based on root cause analysis.
  6. Acting as a technical expert in problem-solving, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, automation, and building systems.
  7. Providing follow-up and reporting to the Operations Manager, ensuring communication with plant stakeholders to improve production processes.

Your Profile

We're seeking a candidate with:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant training.
  3. OIQ membership: CPI or Titre Ing.
  4. Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
  5. Experience with CAD software, including SolidWorks.
  6. Knowledge of ERP and CMMS software.
  7. Knowledge of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing, and project management tools.
  8. Proficiency in Office suite.

Compensation

The salary range is $80k - $110k depending on experience. This is a weekday position, permanent, and face-to-face, with full insurance and company RRSP.
