Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Custodian to join our team at Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and educational institutions. The work will involve working at heights, in wet/damp conditions, and in noisy environments.
