Job Summary:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our physiotherapists, ensuring the smooth operation of our department. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatments, and exercises.
  • Develop and maintain patient information materials, such as educational brochures and instructional guides.
  • Order and maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures, as directed by physiotherapists.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
