Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manager at Fire Safety and Protection LLC is responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking and prospecting activities, securing first appointments with existing building owners at the decision-maker level.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop risk-mitigation strategies to assist clients in budgeting for lifecycle projects, eliminating costly emergency service calls.
  • Pricing and Sales: Develop and present pricing options for service and planned maintenance agreements, assisting in budgeting for future programs.
  • Client Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong business partnerships, gaining the client's trust, meeting their objectives, and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Financial Analysis: Build financial and life cycle analysis with our tools, quantifying value from the client's perspective.
  • Proposal Development: Generate and deliver impactful proposals with dynamic professional executive-level presentations, leading to signed contracts.
  • Sales Training: Participate in sales and industry training, converting that training to sales results.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate and cooperate with other members of the operations and sales team in the branch location to ensure achievement of customer needs.
  • Code Compliance: Beginning or enhancing a common understanding of applicable codes to ensure the success of our life safety programs.
  • Sales Tracking: Track all sales activities in our CRM.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Certifications: Industry certifications like CFAA or NICET a plus, not required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of related sales experience.
  • Technical Experience: Technical experience within one or more of the following: sprinkler, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, suppression systems, security, video, access control, construction, HVAC, or other commercial facilities services or solutions or other service sales direct to end-users.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and present effectively to groups at all levels, from skilled labor and administrative to executive and owner.
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership of customer engagements along with the desire, ability, and skills to manage the entire sales cycle.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships with existing clients to maintain present sales and to facilitate add-on business and services.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with other individuals, departments, and teams.
  • Proposal Writing: Strong ability to write compelling, detailed sales proposals.
  • Organization: Must be well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously.
  • Motivation: Motivated to grow professionally, personally, and financially.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as a CRM platform.

Mobility: May need to travel frequently to meet clients or attend meetings. They should have the ability to move around, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Vision: Good eyesight to read documents, analyzing data, and representing information to clients.

Hearing: Normal hearing to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Stamina: Often work long hours and multi-task. Physical stamina is needed to stay focused and perform the job effectively throughout the day.
