Part-time Childcare Assistant Wanted for Family with Special Needs Children

We are a family seeking a responsible and caring part-time nanny to support our children's needs. Our household consists of two girls aged 4 years old and an 8-year-old girl, as well as a 4-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will be able to engage the younger kids in fun activities, encourage them to maintain a clean living space, and assist in preparing them for bed.

The successful applicant will have first aid training and be certified in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), as well as a valid work visa for Canada. We require someone who can commit to working Saturday evenings and 1-2 weekday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging the younger children in enjoyable activities
  • Encouraging and assisting the children in maintaining a tidy living space
  • Preparing the two younger children for bedtime, including getting them to brush their teeth, wash their face, change into pajamas, and read a story

Additionally, we need care for an extended period on Sundays, approximately once a month, from 10 am to 5 pm. The selected candidate will be responsible for keeping the kids engaged in activities, taking them to a nearby playground if the weather permits, and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
