Our client, a leading healthcare solutions provider, seeks an experienced Integration Specialist to join their team. At ROSS, we empower companies to align their People Strategy with business growth through our remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions, complemented by cutting-edge open-source HRIS software.

You will leverage your knowledge of software and industry-standard protocols to successfully implement and integrate our client's software solutions. Your responsibilities will include the remote installation and implementation of new installs, upgrades, and other tasks requiring professional services.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of networking, hardware, and operating systems (NT, Windows 2000, 2003).
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases such as SQL.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork and ability to foster productive working relationships with internal and external groups.
  • Eligibility to travel within Canada and the US.
  • Eligibility to apply for customer-initiated security clearances such as the US National Agency Check (NAC).

In this role, you will:

  • Provide expert advice and consultation on the implementation and integration of post-General Technical Releases (GTR).
  • Analyze customer needs and develop site-specific workflow requirements for software configuration.
  • Identify proactive strategies for integration development aligned with corporate goals and customer needs, and implement.
  • Deliver projects on time and according to specifications.
  • Communicate technical details and project status to Project Managers, customers, and Integration Team.
  • Research and manage sensitive technical issues encountered during the deployment process.
  • Maintain close contact and share knowledge with regions, knowledge centers, sales organizations, and service departments.
  • Review and provide input on product documentation.
  • Review and provide input on internal processes to build efficiencies.
  • Report any product or documentation issues.
  • Ensure that Implementation and Integration cases are documented and all processes and checklists are followed.
  • Attend our client's product-training, underlying technologies courses, and maintain an expert working knowledge of targeted products and solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 4 years previous work experience in the healthcare industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of Hospital Workflows.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Standards HL7, IHE, DICOM.
  • Knowledge of Programming Languages VB/ASP, VB.NET, HTML, XML.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux.
