About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. As an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription, and education to patients and/or their caregivers.

Job Description

This is a full-time relief position, providing coverage until March 2025 or the return of the incumbent. Your focus will be on Acute Psychiatry and Medical services. You will provide work direction to the Rehabilitation Assistants working with the rehabilitation team regarding transfer of function.

Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
  • Valid Driver's license.
