Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at L.T. Concrete Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient construction of concrete forms and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create concrete forms.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to support concrete structures.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the structure.
  • Conduct site surveys to ensure accurate building locations and levels.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements:
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work accurately, make sound judgments, and demonstrate reliability.
  • Excellent team player with strong values and ethics.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment:
  • On-the-road job with varying work schedules.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • English language proficiency required.
