RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
  • Ensure Timely and Safe Resident Transfers: Coordinate and facilitate the transfer of residents to and from our facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and secure storage, administration, and disposal of medications and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document resident care, progress, and any concerns or issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations. Proficient in basic computer skills and able to navigate electronic medical records.
