Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to lead our project teams in delivering high-quality engineering services to our clients. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all engineering designs and specifications meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead project teams to deliver engineering services to clients, ensuring timely completion and meeting project budgets and schedules.
  • Design and Engineering: Develop and review engineering designs and specifications for structural projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and design standards.
  • Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Technical Direction: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure that engineering designs and specifications meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering design and project management.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Revit, with working knowledge of structural design software.
  • Qualifications: Licensed as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and in good standing.
