Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

At Otter Co-op, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Brickyard Station Food Store in Surrey, BC.

About the Role:

The Assistant Store Manager will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of the food departments, focusing on improving guest service, program execution, and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve sales, margin, and expense targets.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of store image, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stockroom operations to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve results in areas such as employee relations, safety, and marketing.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with a proven track record of success in a management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage computer files efficiently.
