Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Tophill Logistics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
