About Us
CNOOC International is a global energy company and subsidiary of CNOOC Limited, dedicated to delivering safe, sustainable energy for all. Our vision is to be a leading player in the energy industry, with a strong presence in Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, and Europe.
Our Business
We are focused on safely exploring and producing from conventional offshore, unconventional, and oil sands assets. Our size and capability create a competitive advantage, ensuring we deliver long-term value to our stakeholders.
Our Operations
In Canada, we have oil sands assets in Long Lake, a SAGD operation with production capacity of 72,000 barrels of bitumen a day. We also have interest in several other oil sands projects, including Hangingstone and Syncrude's oil sands mining upgrading facility. Additionally, we have shale gas land in Northeast British Columbia and a power station in Balzac, Alberta.

What We Offer
We provide a robust student employee development program, accelerating your career and allowing you to step in, step up, and stand out. We hire both summer and co-op students, with a preference for 16-month co-op work terms. Students must be enrolled in a formal co-op/internship program with their post-secondary institution or returning to their post-secondary institution after this work term.
