Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to join our Buildings Mechanical & Electrical Department at the Thornhill office. This role involves leading and managing a team of mechanical engineers, EITs, and designers, providing guidance and support. The successful candidate will act as a mentor to the team, helping individuals develop their skills and advance in their careers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical design, including HVAC and plumbing, across various building types. They will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables on all projects undertaken by the team.

Estimated Salary

$130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering consulting industry focus on the design of mechanical systems for buildings
  • Valid PEO license
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers
