The Donor Network West is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Specialist to join our team. As an Organ Recovery Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the mission of the DNWest to save and improve lives through organ and tissue donation for transplantation.
This position requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing anesthesia support during deceased organ recoveries, coordinating with transplant teams, and ensuring optimal organ recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia support during deceased organ recoveries
- Coordinate with transplant teams to ensure optimal organ recovery
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals and hospital staff
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia courses and donor management
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to organ recovery
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited MD or CRNA program
- Training in an approved anesthesia program (preferred)
- Experience in providing anesthesia support during deceased organ recoveries (preferred)
- Current California MD or CRNA licensure
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
Compensation:
- $1,500 - $3,000 per day
- On-call shifts: $360 - $460 per shift
- Active case work: $1,500 - $3,000 per case
