Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Provider to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Nanny. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our clients' children in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing and serving nutritious meals to the children.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' methods, promoting social development and good behavior.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, stimulating their cognitive and creative growth.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering comfort and reassurance when needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform light housekeeping and childcare duties.
Work Setting

The successful candidate will work in the employer's home, providing childcare and household support to our clients.

Language

The primary language of communication will be English.

Hours of Work

The position requires 30 hours of work per week, with a permanent work term.
