About the Role

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time math and science educator to join our team. As an educator, you will work directly with students, providing guidance and support in math and science subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science subjects to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, science, or education
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of math and science curricula, particularly at the high school level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
