Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Build It Back. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operates power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Levels top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparts desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applies hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofs, damp proofs, and restores surfaces
  • Repairs, resurfaces, and replaces worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working on site. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in a variety of environments, including dusty, cold, and hot conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work on site and in a variety of environments
