The bigger picture

We're seeking a Financial Services Consultant to join our team in Regina. This role involves providing financial guidance to small business members, guiding them through loan application processes, and ensuring eligibility and creditworthiness for small business loans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance to small business members on credit and wealth solutions, cash management services, and deposit management.
  • Assist members in underwriting for small business loans, ensuring timely and informed decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and knowledge to deliver proactive, advice-based conversations that support our members' financial goals.
  • Maintain relationships with small business members by balancing time in branch and conducting site visits.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with knowledge of financial statements and risk assessment, a natural people person with strong communication skills, and an analytical individual who can assess complex financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with complex consumer lending, including small business portfolios.
  • Prior knowledge of commercial banking and nCino University or an equivalent program.
