Job Title: Store Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Clerk to join our team at Great Canadian Dollar Store. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist in the display and restocking of merchandise, ensuring a visually appealing store environment
  • Perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods, as well as lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
