destinationone Consulting is seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer/Associate to join our team. As an expert in strategic legal guidance, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide range of corporate legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes contracts, agreements, and other critical legal documents.
- Ensure seamless compliance with corporate governance standards and legal regulations.
- Craft compelling negotiations strategies and represent clients with confidence in mediations and legal proceedings.
- Liaise closely with internal teams and external counsel to drive informed decision-making on complex legal matters.
- Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Maintain active membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
- Demonstrate 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Show a deep understanding of corporate law, encompassing M&A, governance, and compliance.
- Exhibit exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A competitive estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will be based in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada.
