Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at thesosoft inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered; read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements; measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding; prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
  • Preparation and Repair: Prepare floors for installations; remove existing floor coverings and contaminants; inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
  • Estimation and Planning: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations; estimate costs and materials; prepare tenders and quotations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work language of French and a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
