Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Elementary School Tutor to join our team at Math4me. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching elementary school subjects to students using a variety of methods, including lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Curriculum Development: Prepare and deliver teaching materials and outlines for courses, ensuring that they are aligned with curriculum standards and meet the needs of students.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Prepare, administer, and correct tests to assess student progress and understanding, identifying areas where students may need additional support.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, helping them with homework and providing additional guidance as needed.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in education, attending professional development opportunities and participating in ongoing training to improve teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience teaching elementary school subjects, with a proven track record of success in improving student outcomes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
