Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Ridge Sheet Metal Co. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling sheet metal products, including ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Handling heavy loads
