The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled FSQA Coordinator to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze data related to Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and other Quality Assurance Program requirements.
  • Provide recommendations to FSQA leadership based on findings.
  • Review escalated proposed corrective actions and provide additional guidance and support.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper execution of documentation verification program.
  • Participate in annual HACCP review and reassessment with cross-functional team.
  • Participate in prerequisite monitoring and reassessment inspections.
  • Designate site gatekeeper for laboratory information management system.
  • Track and trend quality-related deviations and complete process capability analysis.
  • Coordinate FSQA document management and support training.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical role at a food manufacturing facility.
  • Strong understanding of Pre-requisite Programs, HACCP, CCPs, and GMPs related to the food industry.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
