Fibrecast Inc is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Your duties will include interpreting welding process specifications, examining welds to ensure they meet standards, and operating previously set-up welding machines. You will also be responsible for maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding equipment. If you have experience with aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel, iron, and heavy metals, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Interpret welding process specifications and examine welds to ensure they meet standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products

Requirements:

  • Experience with aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel, iron, and heavy metals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
