We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that stock levels are optimized.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Standing for extended periods.
