Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist in the planning, design, and production of electrical engineering projects. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects, including lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project managers in completing electrical designs for firm-wide projects
  • Provide design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for medium/low voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, lightning protection systems, grounding systems, communications systems, and electrical equipment design
  • Assist with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects
  • Assist with evaluation of project scopes
  • Contribute to companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree Preferred
  • 1 year of related experience in medium/low voltage power distribution systems, grounding systems, lighting systems, communications systems, and electrical equipment design
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Proficiency in ETAP or EasyPower and AGI32

Working Conditions

The majority of work is office-based, with some site visits required, which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
