We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Care to join our team at Tendercare West. This role involves providing leadership and guidance to our personal care staff, as well as implementing and evaluating nursing department quality improvement initiatives.

• Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to personal care staff.
• Develop and manage plans to improve resident care outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in long term care, with previous management experience an asset.
• Current knowledge of clinical issues for geriatric residents, infection control, principles of adult education, and quality improvement.
