Job Overview

The Telecon Enterprise is seeking a skilled Senior Security Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Security Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, card access systems, public address systems, intrusion panels, and intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of security systems, including pre-wiring, installing, configuring, programming, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform configuration and basic troubleshooting on LAN/WAN's.
  • Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide basic customer training for proper system usage.
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork.
  • Perform other tasks as required.


Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Security System Installation or as a Service Technician.
  • Completion of high school education with preference to post-secondary education in security, electronic, or information technology.
  • Experience with Kantech, KeyScan, Bosch, Salto, Avigilon, I3, TOA, AXIS, Indigo Vision, Milestone, and Genetec.
  • Must know wiring of panels and devices for the brands mentioned.
  • Experience with key scan or card access certifications would be an asset.
  • Networking and IP knowledge.
  • Data and voice networks and telephony experience an asset.
  • Good physical ability.
  • Health and Safety oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Working at Heights and Fall Arrest Certification is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
