Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our global engineering team. As a Data Warehouse Architect, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the technical execution of enterprise data warehouse solutions and services. This includes understanding business requirements, solution design, data extraction, transformation, and integration architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL development. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google BigQuery, and other relevant technologies is highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data warehouse solutions using Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and other relevant technologies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on data architecture best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL development.
  • Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google BigQuery, Google Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience diagramming complex data architectures and using ERDs.
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
