Aerospace Planner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Planner Specialist to join our team at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for accepting orders from internal customers, creating demand with our manufacturing facility, and providing communication to customers on delivery dates and schedule changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal customer RFQs by coordinating necessary activities within Supply Chain.
- Accurate entry, review, and management of customer orders, including PO changes and customer schedule changes.
- Proactively communicate customer order status updates.
- Monitor email communications and handle direct phone calls with customers.
- Maintain data accuracy within the ERP system to ensure accurate reporting of KPIs.
- Work closely with Customer Quality and Quality Engineering to conduct root cause corrective action investigations and execute improvements.
- Identify current or pending obsolete/out-of-production part issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Support new programs and special projects in supply chain.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in Customer Service, Planning, Purchasing, or Sales environment.
- Experience in the Aerospace sector is an asset.
- Strong familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
