About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Thiara Construction and Logistics. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project requirements.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Thiara Construction and Logistics is committed to supporting newcomers and refugees. As a Construction Labourer, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to our company's mission of promoting inclusivity and diversity.
  • Support for Indigenous Communities: We value our relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations. As a Construction Labourer, you will have the opportunity to work with and support these communities.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
